Road Running and Cross Country Club founded in 1978 as one of the new type Jogging Clubs. We currently have about 150 members and aim to cater for all standards. Members can be competitive or just run to get fit. Our current strengths are in the ladies and veterans sections with some members competing in County and National Competions. There is an Club Championship that runs throughout the year and a monthly 10 km handicap (The Staggered Jog) now in its 30th year. The Club encourages participation in relays and social events including an Annual Dinner and Presentation Evening, a running Scrabble evening, arranged visits, barbequees and so on. |
