Herts Phoenix AC was formed in March 2002 by the merger of two well established Hertfordshire Clubs - Verlea AC and Hertford and Ware AC.

The new Club has retained both of its training bases at Wodson Park, Ware and Gosling Stadium, Welwyn Garden City.

The New Club has over 35 Coaches covering all of the activities listed including Cross Country, Race Walking, and Track and Field and teams at all age groups from SportsHall to veterans.
We were UK:Athletics 'Club of the Year' for 2007 and have been Southern Women's track and field league winners for 2006 and 2007.
We have talent at all levels including senior, U23, U20 and U17 international vest winners as well as English Schools and England Athletics National Champions amongst our ranks.

Club Training Sessions

Tuesdays
Gosling (WGC) at 630.pm.- Wodson (Ware) 6.45.pm. All activities

Thursdays
Golsing (WGC) at 6.30.pm. (hurdles from 6pm) - Wodson (Ware) 6.00 (U/11) 6.45 pm. (all others). All activities

Sat., Sun., & Mon.
Times and Sessions dependant on availability of Coaches but all activities are covered.
