| Norwich Road Runners was formed in 1985, and has grown steadily to over 160 members today. The club has always concentrated on road running, with occasional forays into cross-country and other formats. We pride ourselves on being a friendly club welcoming runners both male and female, of all ages and of all abilities from complete beginners to the fastest in the county. We meet at the Sewell Park Sports Centre in the north of Norwich, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from about 7:00 pm ready to run at 7:15. On Tuesdays there is normally a coaching session on the sports field, and on Thursdays a road run of up to 8 miles, although shorter distances are always available. For safety, women and juniors are always accompanied. |
