Poole AC have become the first club in Dorset to be awarded the prestigious Clubmark acceditation from Sport England.

The club has also been recognised by London Marathon Committeefor the opportunities it gives new runners.br>

The Senior Club is mainly a Road Running Club competing in the Dorset and Hampshire Road Running Leagues as well as the Wessex Cross Country League and The Hampshire Cross Country League.
We organise the infamous multi-terrain race THE BEAST run in September from Corfe Castle over the beautiful Purbeck Hills.
Win a bottle of wine, Round The Lakes Race every Boxing Day in Poole Park, Poole Dorset.

The Junior section of the club mainly compete in Track and Field Leagues as well as the local Cross Country Leagues.

Road runners meet at Haymoor Inn, Canford Heath. The road runners have groups of different levels; one group do speed/track work and the other groups go out jogging/running around the area - nobody gets left behind - and there is an experienced coach in each.
