Reading Athletic Club was established in 1881 and was one of the Clubs which formed the Amateur Athletic Association. Over the years Reading AC has had many County, National, International, Commonwealth and Olympic Champions. Reading AC has a Junior Club for those in years 4 and 5 at School which meets on a Sunday morning between March and October each year. Further information is available from the Club Secretary. All other ages from age 10 in year 6 at School to Veteran athletes meet on our usual training sessions on a Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings each week at Palmer Park Stadium, Wokingham Road, Reading. The Club trains and competes in Track and Field, Endurance, Cross Country, Road Running and Sportshall.
